Settle into a comfy chair in the studio's living room and relax with beverage of your choice. We'll start a conversation about what makes your family unique, which themes you want to bring to life, and how best to create beautiful images to transfer onto custom art, albums, and specialty products for your home - that's the goal of each session!

While we specialize in newborns, sessions for children and families are also available to help you preserve all the stages of your family's growth. It's an honor to work with your family as it grows and changes.
Newborn Session - studio only, parents and/or siblings always welcome. Unlimited custom outfits & themes - if you can dream it, we can bring it to life!
- Milestone Session - Tummy Time, Sitting Up, First Birthday, or any milestone you'd like to celebrate! Big kids welcome, too - once a brookside baby, always a brookside baby.
- Sibling or Family Session - in studio or on location, we'll capture your family's bond throughout the years.
- Holiday Session - for any & every holiday from A to Z; If it's special to you, we'd love to help you celebrate it! Hand designed greetings for New Year's. Valentine's. St. Patrick's, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas, or get the most out your tiny human's Halloween costume by turning it into a fantasy portrait.
- All Bundled Up - for babies up to 3 months old. Wrapped minis are a sweet and simple way to get a taste of what we do at Brookside Baby. Skip the creative fee: this session includes 30 minutes in studio and 3 digital portraits for $650.
Once we create a plan, payment of the $750 creative fee - which includes product credit - will formally book your session date, or pencil in your due date - you'll let us know when baby arrives. Click here for more on when to book your newborn session and what to expect.

...and includes up to 4 hours in studio - expect to spend the most time for your newborn, a little less for Family and Milestone sessions - patience is key in making this fun and enjoyable for everyone. Breaks to feed, change diapers, or take a moment to regroup are welcome and expected. This fee also includes processing and preparation of your images and your Design & Ordering appointment - plus your choice of Wall Art or Printable Digital Portrait, Petite Print, & Social Media Portrait, OR studio credit towards a larger collection. After your consultation you can look over the menu to decide on what you love best. Then we'll finalize your order by the day of your session, which is when the full balance is due.
it's time to design your heirloom art!
You'll return to the studio after your session to view the images we created. Your choice of portraits for your gallery will determine the time required to create it. Each tiny gallery is a labor of love and requires many, many hours to complete. They are completely worth the wait, though - only the best for your tiny human, right?
Together, we'll design products that fit your specific needs and style. We'll virtually project your tiny human's portraits onto your own walls, and if you decide on an Deluxe Album, you'll be able to see each page before it's finalized. Products are available a la carte, or you may choose The Essential Collection for even more value. Don't forget to add on your specialty items - tiny books and viewers, ornaments, and more are perfect for gifting and make your collection so much fun! With today's digital technology, we can show you what your portraits will look like in your home before they even get there!
Our specially designed software makes portrait art fun, as it allows us to project your portraits onto a digital image of your wall. It even allows us to scale the images creating a perfect fit!
The only thing you have to do? Photograph your walls and send us the images before your ordering appointment. Here's directions on how to do it.
how to photograph your walls
Attach a standard piece of copy paper (8.5 x 11) to the wall. This helps us calibrate the size of your wall.
With your digital camera, shoot the wall and paper as straight on as you can.
Include the floor and ceiling if you can.
